I got involved in TEAM in Training because of a blood disorder my son has, which really stoked my life long passion for biking. General Cancer Type: Leukemia

Specific Cancer Type: AML - type M4

Treatment Summary:
I completed my induction chemo at Stanford Hospital on March 9th, 2002. Both biopsy's since then have determined that I am currently in remission. I will have consolidation chemo in April of 2002, after which we have to decide whether to do a BMT or whether to continue with a couple more rounds of consolidation chemo.
