I have been teaching fifth grade for 22 years. I am married with two children. One son who is presently a drill instructor at Parris Island, SC, and a daughter who is working on a masters degree in mathematics (cryptology).
I enjoy riding my bike and would like to do a cross-sountry tour when I retire.

Cancer Overview:

General Cancer Type: Melanoma

Specific Cancer Type: Stage 3

Treatment Summary:
The cancer was discovered in a cyst in my armpit.. The point of origin was never found. I had the lymph nodes removed. I completed four weeks of high dose Interferon then began the low dosage. I stopped the low dosage treatment because I wanted to go back to work and my mental alertness just wasn't there any more. I felt fine with my decision because the lymph nodes were negative as well as the PET scan, CT scan, and MRI.I wouldlike to find out if there is any one out there riding and wearing a compression sleeve for lymphedema.
