I am a little over a month away for turning 50 (03/09/1955). Married to my lovely wife, supporter, and helpmate, Georjean since June 11, 1978. We have three children; Michael (22), Gina (20) and Katelyn (13). I got back in to cycling in September of 2003. Wanted to do something to get some exercise to improve my health. Figured it would help me battle Cancer too. Because I am a "Clydesdale", I decided to start back on a Mountain Bike. Rode in my first RftR, 40 mile route, in 2004. I am a retired Police Officer for the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. I currently do Computer Support for Sunbeam Priducts, Inc. (Sunbeam, Oster, Mr. Coffee, Health-O-Meter, and First Alert brands) at their Distribution Center in Neosho, MO.

Treatment Summary:
03/04/2002 - Righ Radical Nephrectomy: Kidney and Tumor (football size) removed
05/21/2002 - Left Adrenalectomy - Metastisis from Kidney (pickle size). Was there when mass on Kidney wsa observed.
03/24/2004 - Right Thoracotomy; to remove a small mass between the middle and lower lobes of my right Lung. Metastisis from Kidney.
Other than Surgery, I have had no other treatments. Have started taking a pretty hefty multi-Vitamin, some suppliments, and made a big change in diet. I also Drink four Litres of water a day, mainly becasue of having only one Kidney.
