I was an early member of the group and rode in the first Ride for the Roses that was publicly held. I think it was in 2000, 20 years ago. I knew Martha Jack through the CCC website and also Chris Brewer, who left LAF about the same time I got busy and wandered....Cheers to all cyclists currently combating cancer. We get it.

My girlfriend had her right leg amputated above the knee when she was 13 due to cancer. We have talked about trying a tandem bike so that she can experience the joy of cycling. Just wondering if there are other amputees that have taken up tandem biking, tips, suggestions, etc. Thanks.

My dad was a member of this group 15yrs ago when his battle with cancer ended and he passed away I still miss him everyday I learned he was part of this group recently when someone gave me copies of all the emails he had written during his fight!! As I read them I realize just how much this group ment to him and also how much he loved to ride and how much riding helped with chemo symptoms!! So thanks for being here and to all of you out there fighting keep up the good fight and god bless you!!! My dads favorite way to end a post was "I'm going to beat this thing if it kills me"!!
