I am not a cancer survivor, but have lost a friend and parents of friends to cancer. My mother is a two time cancer survivor from skin cancer and colon cancer, and I have friends who are survivors. I am here to support and cheer, and to ride my bike to help raise money to fight cancer. I have been a type 1 diabetic since I was seven years old and the cycling also helps me control my diabetes.
