I have a banner manufacturing company, Northcott Banner Corp., in Minneapolis, MN. I started my business 24-years ago. I have a 13-yr old son and have been married since 1990.
I got involved with the CCC?s through the 2008 Lance Armstrong Foundation. I?ve been doing the LAF, Ride for the Roses, since 2004. My dear friend Mary Tyler Zehring talked me into signing up for the ride. At the time she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. We both thought the LAF ride in Austin, TX., would be a great goal to work toward. That year Mary was too sick to travel to Texas for the ride. I went solo and did the ride on her bike. Sadly, we lost Mary in December of 2004. I?ve continued doing the LAF ride in her memory, on her bike.
