I am 65 yrs old and was diagnosed with oral cancer in Feb.1992. I have since had seven tumors removed from my mouth, tongue and floor of my mouth. Lucky for me,no chemo or radiation. I have been cycling for twelve years and I continue to love it. I do a lot of metric centuries although I have done a few centuries recently.My favorite ride is the MS150. We ride to North Carolina and return. It's just great. After each MS ride, I can't wait for the next year to come. We normally have 600 cyclist show up.I also love to ride Rails-Trails.Cancer has actually improved my life. It has given me a much greater appreciation for the things I love to do, like cycling.
