My name is Heather I am a member of CCC and the Lance Armstrong Foundation Peleton Project. I am proud to say I am a cancer survivor! I live in Denver Colorado and pretty much love to get involved in anything having to do with the great outdoors. Cycling is my first love and I will usually drop anything to ride. My favorite saying is "Liv 2 Byk" I addopted this after I was diagnosed in 99'. I like to think of cancer as a bike race, you have the beginning of the race (your diagnosis), the middle (your treatment) and the end. I try to keep things in a positive perspective now, because you only live life once!
I work for a local fire department as a 911 dispatcher and have to say I am an adrenelin junky and love my job. I am not married nor have any children in the 2 legged sense. I do have a 6 year old four legged baby named "Courtney" whom I give all my love to. She is the best hiking partner one could ask for. :)

4 cycles of Chemo (Taxol and Carboplatnium)1999
In 3rd year of remission now :)
